Many of these tests were first built and tested mostly on men. They often miss autistic women, non-binary people, and anyone who learned to hide how they think and feel. If you answer one optional question, we can point you toward tests that might fit your experience best. You can take any test at any time regardless.

Current / best-practice More recently validated; broader representation in norming samples
Older / classic Widely used and recognised, but normed primarily on male samples
Functioning & wellbeing How you have been feeling and coping recently · sits alongside the neurotype screens above

These are general mental-health and functioning screens, not neurotype trait measures. A higher score is a prompt for reflection and, if you want it, a conversation with a GP or psychologist. They do not diagnose anything. If anything here brings up difficult feelings, support is available at the bottom of every screen.

Body & health Physical experiences that often travel with being neurodivergent

These are physical-health screens, not neurotype or mental-health measures. Conditions like hypermobility, mast cell activation, and dysautonomia often travel with being autistic or ADHD. A higher score is a prompt to explore with a GP or physiotherapist, not a diagnosis.

All instruments are research-validated screening tools for self-understanding. Your scores give you a starting point for reflection and for a professional conversation, where the fuller picture comes together.
